My Deepest Prayer For You

From my experience, finding the deeper fulfillment and satisfaction in life that our hearts ache for is challenging because it comes by way of paradox. There’s comes a time when it’s no longer about the upward trajectory as much as it’s about the downward descent.

Yes, there comes a time when moving your life forward isn’t about doing more, but by learning how resist less.

What I’m realizing more and more from my own human experience is that there is a energetic life force much bigger than we could ever imagine making its way through our lives, like a river, and it’s designed to carry us into our deepest longings but we spend all of our energy resisting this life force as we anxiously strive and strive and strive in hopes to move this river.

And we’re tired.

But, here’s the deal. The river is already flowing. The life force is already moving. So, our journey has to shift from trying to make the river flow to learning how to rest in the river that's already flowing. This takes trust that only comes through action and experience and doesn't happen without taking the time to grieve, process and heal.

This is the journey of moving beyond your current experience and into a deeper way of living. This is the journey of not only your life circumstances changing—but you changing at a cellular level.

And that changes everything.

Because one way of life leaves you exhausted and the type of tired that more sleep doesn't always fix. And the other way of life leaves you with more energy and a deep profound gratitude and appreciation that overflows and fills the cup of everyone around you.

My deepest prayer for you is that you learn how to rest in the river of your own life because it's flowing and I promise you—it will carry you.
