From NFL to Canada: My Journey of Self-Discovery and Transformation

I was cleaning out my old West Point trunks the other day and I came across this newspaper article and I couldn't help but laugh and say under my breath...

"Oh, he left the NFL and moved to Canada and became a glorified janitor of an organization in exchange for free therapy, and over the next 5 years he committed to the the process so that he could better understand the internal shifts that needed to happen in order for him to maximize his potential while enhancing his overall well-being and quality of life."

Casual, I know. 😂😂😂

But, in all seriousness, it's been a heck of a journey.

It hasn't always made sense and while I've quit on myself and on life more times than I can count, I wouldn't trade it for anything.

This journey has led me to where I am today - emotionally healthy, full of purpose and deeply passionate about the work that I do.

Every week/month, I get to stand on a stage and deliver a message that helps leaders step into their next breakthrough—professionally and personally.

And, I’ll never take it for granted.

This isn’t just a message to me. It’s not just a job.

My work is a testament to the power of resilience and self-discovery.

And my mission is to uplift and help transform lives by helping others discover those qualities within themselves.

And the one thing that I know to be true is that I can’t do it alone.

You can’t do it alone.

Where we long to go in our leadership and in our lives is going to take all of us.

We’re in this together.
